The journey towards the care of creation in the Social Teaching of the Church
The Season of Creation (Sept. 1 – Oct. 4) is key to deepen reflection, prayer and celebration for the Care of Creation, our common home, the Earth.
The Carmelite NGO together with the Laudato Si’ Movement have launched a special issue of CarmeNGO for the Season of Creation to contribute to eco-theological reflection on the path taken by Catholic moral theology to arrive at the current understanding of the care of creation, with new categories such as integral ecology and ecological conversion.

Organizing for an Integral Ecology
In this first issue of CarmeNGO 2022, Dr. Kevin Ahern invites us to think about integral ecology from the Laudato Si’ – Fratelli Tutti binomial and to see how the Synodal Way to which Pope Francis calls us for 2023 is part of the ecclesial conversion needed, along with personal and political conversions, to move from an ecology of indifference towards integral human development.
